Bring your own lunch, drinks and a snack to share. Decorate a pumpkin (real or artificial) at home as a storybook character from a book you’ve read and bring it for our Storybook Character Contest. (Nothing scary or evil looking please) Dressing up is optional. Please no scary or evil characters

Storybook Pumpkin Contest Rules:

  • You may use pumpkins and/or gourds to create your project (real or artificial).

  • To decorate, you can use paper, glue, paint, markers, pipe cleaners, fabric or other craft items on the entry.

  • Projects must represent a book character. Bring the book or a picture of the book cover to display with your pumpkin and/or gourd.

  • This is a home project and entries should be done mostly by the student. Parents or other family members may assist.
